Guest Designer for Let's Craft and Create

Over at Let's Craft and Create  http://letscreatechallenges.blogspot.com/  they have fortnightly challenges taking place.  This fortnights challenge is "Say It With Flowers" and I have been asked to be there Guest Designer.  Below are the two projects I made.

Using a template from Adela Rossol at http://cbyar.blogspot.com/ I have made a baby girls card incorporating Cuttlebug folders, ribbon, flowers, a gemstone brad and tulle.  I have changed it slightly to make it stand up by itself.

For the second project I have made a sock cupcake.  To make these you shape socks into a cupcake, make a cupcake holder and then present how you please.  I have presented this one in a clear cupcake favour basket box and added some ribbon with flowers on it.

I hope I have added some inspiration to this challenge.  I can’t wait to see all the fabulous entries out there.

I would like to say a big thank you to Amanda & Eileen for inviting me to be a guest designer for this challenge.

BIRTHDAY

Today I would like to share with you a card I made for my eldest boy who turned 7 recently.

The boy is made using a paper tole picture and I computer generated the number 7 and added glossy accents to it and used 3d foam to adhere to the card.

I like the simplicity of this card and the colour combination.

I am going to enter this card into the current challenge over at Let's Craft & Create

GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS

I have had 3 friends have 3 baby girls over the past couple of weeks.  So I have been busy making these cute baby cards.

I have just purchased some copic markers so I have used them on these cards.  The images are from www.digistampboutique.co.uk
Hope you like.

I have used a combination of Spellbinders scalloped and plain cirles, ribbon and charm from my stash and swiss dots folder from the Sizzix range.

For this card I have used the same tools as above and add some buttons and some lace.  The sentiments are computer generated.

For this card I have used Spellbinders scalloped and plain ovals, rinestones, paper and ribbon from my stash.

Flower Brooch

Firstly I would like to thank two people for my inspiration to make one of these fantasic singed flowers.  Julie a lady I know whom is very crafty and Linda over at http://www.craftaholicsanonymous.net/2010/01/singed-flower-and-kneehigh-headband.html
I have made mine into a brooch.

BABY SOCK ROSE BOUQUET

I decided I wanted to have a go at making roses out of baby socks.  This bouquet consists of 3 pairs of socks and I have added some artifical leaves and finished it off with some pretty paper and a wooden ladybird.  So here is my first bouquet I have made.  Loved making it and love the result.

I'M BACK

Sorry I have not posted anything for a while.  I know I said I would but I didn't realise how busy I would be raising 3 boys.  I just don't know where my time goes but it is certainly not on my crafting side of life.  However in saying that I have made a couple of things over the past month in between everything that goes with family life that I would like to share with you.  SO WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
